As a member of FEA, legal assistance is available to you for personal legal matters. Such assistance comes through the
Attorney Referral Program of FEA by providing you with local attorneys who are willing to handle personal legal matters at a substantial savings.
The program entitles members to two free ˝-hour consultations each year on any topic (except
income tax preparation). If consultation leads to additional legal services, the attorney’s fee will be discounted by 30%. The following “core areas” are covered by the program: real estate, wills
and estates, domestic relations, consumer protection and traffic violations. Certain matters are excluded from the 30% discount, however, including assistance with bankruptcies, preparation of federal
income tax returns, defense of criminal violations (other than traffic) and incidental fees such as court-imposed filing fees and attorney’s out-of-pocket expenses. Listed below are the program’s
