Gifted Endorsement

Difficult financial times are nothing new to this district, but as the nation’s economy continues to spiral downwards, CCEA feels it is important to re-visit some of our members’ cost-saving suggestions from 2005. We hope you will take a few minutes to review some of these suggestions that were presented to the superintendent from former CCEA president Von Jeffers and offer some suggestions that our current president Cal Boggess can bring forward to Dr. Thompson.

Ethics in Education Brochure
(Requires Adobe Acrobat)

A new law that was passed by the Florida Legislature that became effective July 1, 2008
will have a profound impact on both current and prospective Collier County
teachers. Called the Ethics in Education Act, this is already affecting some Collier
County Employees. It is directed at those who have been convicted of specific
felonies and misdemeanors.
